Doctors referrals are not needed to make an appointment. A referral from a doctor is only necessary if you are making a workers compensation or third party claim.

Medicare rebates are available for your physiotherapy sessions when using an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan, which is given to eligible patients by their GP. Bring your Medicare card to process the claim during your consultation, or get a copy of your receipt to claim online.
